Through its free Employer's Priority staffing support, the program removes the need for help wanted ads, screening candidates and providing extra support during the critical first weeks on the job. If a Workforce Alternative intern or employee does not meet an employer's needs, they will be replaced without the hassles and potential legal problems brought on in traditional employment situations. As an additional benefit, most employers will be eligible for a tax break for participating in this program.

Unique Labor Pool Flexibility Delivers Success.

Employers need flexibility and the Workforce Alternatives labor pool has it. The program provides employers with a range of employment options each with free on the job support by professional staffing consultants. The three main Workforce Alternatives employment options are:

  • Traditional Internship: A program that offers employers free help for 30 days in return for the important on the job experience the intern requires to succeed in the workplace. At the end of the 30 days, the intern will move on to permanent employment at another company and the employer can sign up for another 30 day internship.
  • Apprentice Internships: An option that gives the employer the benefit of a free trial period during which time the employee's ability to do the job effectively can be readily assessed. At the end of the 30 day trial period, if the employer is not satisfied that the Apprentice Intern can do the job in a permanent, temporary, part time or full time position, the Apprentice Intern will be replaced with a new candidate.
  • Experienced Employees For Hire: Workforce Alternatives offers employers free access to a screened, trained labor pool. Employees are available for full or part time work on a permanent or temporary basis.
